Kota Tissue is the rarest and most luminous expression of Rajasthan's celebrated Kota Doria weaving tradition — pure metallic zari woven into the characteristic khat (square check) ground of Kota, producing a fabric that shimmers with a cold, platinum light at every angle. At ₹2,65,000, this saree is priced at what it truly costs to create: months of a master weaver's work, in one of India's most technically demanding weave structures. Priyanka Nagar chose it because some pieces do not need to be explained. They only need to be worn.

The Jamawar allover motifs are worked directly into the Kota Tissue ground in pure silver zari using the tapestry interlocking technique — each motif an individually woven element in the fabric, inseparable from it. The Paithani border at the hem and pallu adds a second weaving system to the piece, bringing the total technical complexity to a level rarely seen in a single saree. The overall effect — silver on silver, with the structured openness of the Kota khat beneath — is one of the most quietly spectacular things Indian handweaving can produce.
